Some fireplaces are meant to be seen up close.
Here at The Fireplace Warehouse in Aintree, Liverpool, our 6,000 sq ft showroom hosts over 200 live displays from industry-leading brands like The Diamond Collection, Solus Fires, Stovax and British Fires.
That’s not all: because we supply and fit, you can view working fires, you can get expert advice, and then leave the rest up to our Gas Safe and HETAS-registered installation team across Merseyside.
But why the showroom focus? Many premium manufacturers sell through approved retailer networks so you can properly judge flame realism, glass options, and surrounds before you buy.

The Diamond Collection
The Diamond Collection is Be Modern Group’s new, British-made family of luxury electric fireplaces and fireplace suites, crafted in micro-marble and timber and built around the brand’s iQFX Intelligent eFires technology.
Choose an appliance from this collection, and you’ll get precision control and the kind of built quality you’d expect from a UK manufacturer with more than six decades of know-how.
The Diamond Collection is set up to be explored in showrooms through approved retailers, and that suits us perfectly! Homeowners can see sizes, finishes and flame effects in person at our Aintree showroom, then leave the rest to our in-house installation team.
Within the range, the iQFX Electric Fires line-up covers everything from 16-inch inset models through to panoramic centrepieces. Some highlights including the iQFX-16 and a landscape family running 600P, 750P/L, 1000L, 1250L, 1500L and 1800L
Solus electric fire collection
Solus is Vision Fires’ showroom-led collection for electric centrepieces, and it’s one we love to specify in person because the flame realism and finish are best appreciated up close.
In our Liverpool showroom, you can see working Solus displays alongside other leading brands (and when you’ve chosen your fire, our Media Wall specialists, Gas Safe and HETAS-registered team will handle the full survey and installation).
Within the electric line-up, you’ll find the Solus VS series covering compact, media wall must-haves through to statement panoramics. Models such as the VS75, VS100, VS130, VS150, VS180 and VS220 can all be installed front-facing, as a corner, or as a full panoramic three-sider.
If you pop in to see Solus VS and iX models working, be sure to bring rough sizes or room photos. Our team can take things from there.
Onyx gas and electric fire collection
Onyx is the luxury arm of the Stovax Heating Group, engineered in Britain and sold through approved showrooms only (exactly the kind of collection you’ll want to see working in person).
If you’re working on a media wall project, the brand’s Avanti range features its most recognisable electric centrepieces.
Available in three sizes and configurable as single, corner, or three-sided, Avanti electric fires boast Chromalight effects with handset and app control, plus optional mood lighting and even a real-wood Luxury Logscape.
We’ll help you pick the right size and configuration for your wall build, then install it to a neat, made-to-measure finish. For something truly different, Onyx’s ceiling-hung electric statement piece (Orbit) is an engineering marvel.
Suspended from the ceiling with an open-fronted look (and the option to rotate for the best view), Orbit is made for open-plan spaces and vaulted ceilings – it’s another showroom-only model, so you can judge proportions and finishes on a live display before installation.
British electric fires and stoves
British Fires is a UK manufacturer best known for the New Forest range of premium electric centrepieces, stoves and suites. These appliances are designed to be experienced in person and sold through selected, showroom-based dealers, which is where we come in!
Within the inset collection, New Forest models cover compact square formats through to dramatic widescreens. The core line-up includes the 650SQ, 870, 1200, 1600, 1900 and 2400, each configurable one-, two- or three-sided to suit media walls and chimney breasts.
If you’d prefer an all-in-one statement, the suites will make choosing easy. Their Brockenhurst suite, for example, comes with either Signature or Deluxe Real Logs and a choice of white or grey marble-effect finishes.
Or, when you want a stove look without the chimney work, British Fires makes three electric stoves you can simply plug in and enjoy.
You can see a large range of the British Fires models live in our showroom to understand the proportions and finishes before we fit.
