Supplemental home heating has changed a lot: people still love the classic comforts of a wood-burning stove, but the mess and structural limitations of traditional flues no longer suit how we live.

Evonic electric fires are a long way removed from this kind of maintenance, offering installation freedom for all kinds of properties. Founded in Warwickshire, Evonic is a British brand specialising in premium architectural electric fires.

The award-winning brand is among the world’s most technically advanced manufacturers – Evonic designs high-performance electric fires that combine ultra-realistic flame projections with intuitive app-driven controls, the dream for modern homes.

At The Fireplace Warehouse Liverpool, we’re pleased to offer selected Evonic electric home heating appliances. If you’d like to see their beautiful designs in person (and speak to a member of our team about installing one in your home), visit our Aintree showroom.

What features do Evonic electric fires offer?

1. Realistic LED flame effects

It’s hard to beat Evonic when it comes to flame realism.

The brand’s ‘Volektra flame effect’ is incredibly immersive – it uses LED technology to capture the authentic depth and movement of real flames rather than a flat, repetitive loop.

Paired with illuminated fuel beds and oak resin-set logs, the visual display is second to none. Browse the brand’s collection, and you’ll find models with 11 fuel bed settings and flame styles with adjustable speeds.

2. Smart app and voice control

On nights when you want to curl up in front of the fire, the last thing you want to do after settling into your sofa is stand up to switch it on. That’s where Evonic’s E-Smart system becomes invaluable.

Using the E-Smart app on your smartphone or connected device, you can adjust flame speed, brightness, heating levels, and exact thermostatic temperature from anywhere in the room.

Selected models can even be operated using Alexa or Google Assistant for an even more convenient way to manage your fire.

3. Customisable lighting and flame settings

With an Evonic unit, you have plenty of scope for how you want your fire to look. Fine-tune flame brightness, dial the movement speed up or down, and adjust fuel-bed illumination independent of heat.

4. Flame effect with or without heat

Who says you can’t have the fire on in summer?

One of the best parts of owning an electric fire is instant access to ambience without the heating element. Turn the flames down to a subtle flicker for a quiet night in with friends or lean into the drama for a dinner party with maximum brightness.

What styles of Evonic electric fire are available?

1. Built-in electric fires

Evonic offers beautiful, built-in electric models that recess directly into a wall, false chimney structure, or purpose-built aperture. These fires sit flush for an integrated effect, which is great for properties tight on floor space.

Their range includes everything from more compact inset models to larger landscape-format fires. Depending on the model, you can use them in feature walls or even an existing fireplace opening.

(If you’d like our staff to advise on suitability, why not visit our showroom? Measure the width and depth of your chimney breast or bring some photographs of your current setup: we’d be happy to discuss the details and you can see the fires on live display).

2. Media wall fires

No media wall is complete without a wide, landscape Evonic electric fire. The brand’s larger landscape models (like the Halo and e-series) are specifically engineered for these setups.

Ranging from roughly one metre to over 1.75 metres in visible glass width, they align proportionally beneath 43-inch to 75-inch televisions built into timber-stud false chimney breasts.

Evonic appliances are designed with specialised, front-facing, downward-angled convective heaters (delivering 1.5kW to 2kW of thermostatic heat) that push warmth outwards, not up towards your electrical equipment.

Combine this with high-grade anti-reflective front glass that virtually eliminates reflections, and you have a fire that ticks all the boxes.

3. One, two and three-sided installations

Some models can be installed in several configurations – shop for one-sided fires for a classic front-facing view or a two-sided design that exposes the front and one side for a corner-style installation.

For a wide, panoramic effect, three-sided appliances wrap the glass around the front and both sides. Explore models across Evonic’s Halo, E-Lectra, and E-Series ranges, which come with adaptable blanking plates and conversion panels.
